Evan Walsh (b. 1995) is a PA- and NYC-based photographer, writer, curator, and producer originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Evan's work explores notions of chosen family, trauma, power, and mythologies of masculinity. Evan's photography has been featured in Out, Fotoroom, Lenscratch, and Entertainment Weekly, as well as on book covers internationally, and has been exhibited at the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Boston Photo Resource Center, and Kayafas Gallery. In 2018, he was shortlisted for the Lucie Foundation Emerging Artist Grant. After moving to New York, Evan began working as a studio assistant to Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb and as a teaching assistant for Richard Renaldi and the ICP School.

As a producer, Evan has spent his early career in pursuit of supporting visionary programs that disrupt the status quo, amplifying the voices of marginalized artists who are imagining radical futures, and cultivating projects that dream beyond our broken systems. As Exhibitions Manager for artist collective For Freedoms from 2017–2020, Evan coordinated the team behind the 50 State Initiative, served as production coordinator for Emily Shur and Hank Willis Thomas’ Four Freedoms prints (Cover, Time Magazine, Nov 2018), and managed operations and curatorial for For Freedoms Congress. Now as Program Manager for the Guild of Future Architects, Evan facilitates spaces of imagining bolder futures, overcoming transgressive societal forces, and awakening of the inner spiritual self. Beyond producing and curation, Evan facilitates support groups, writers’ summits, and other communities of cultural abundance and connection — spaces where emerging artists can find the solidarity and support it takes to realize their truest desires.
